My EX did that once.
He took a box (we had just moved) that had scrap fabric in it to the dump
when I realized he had taken the wrong box.
It had a complete set of silverware in it.

Poor guy.. Hes being punished for asking before he did anything.. He did 'save' a few things - Praise him for that.. He could of burned the WHOLE thing !!

remember whatever is missing it is replaceable..
