Oh my he is very special, and I am sure will bring such happiness to your family...everytime I look at Sugarbear she makes me smile, I hope your puppy will do the same.

Your puppy looks a lot like one of my granddogs. He is a springer spaniel, black and white. He is larger than he was expected to be--almost as large as my daughters other dog, a large black lab. Even though we are in the US, we have a UK connection, my son-in-law is from Portmathdog Wales. He still works for his company in Leeds and does it from his home here. He was over there recently and will be going again mid-December. His family is still in Wales. They and some of his friends are frequent visitors and in fact, my daughter, her husband and their 2 children along with her 18 yr old niece spent last Christmas in Wales. An unusual amount of snow greeted them. It is truly a small world.

They are beautiful dogs . I looked up the name . I have never seen one before. Good luck with your new puppy. And give a little tug to those great ears for me. :-)

We're just across the water from Wales and yes, last winter was very snowy which is unusual for here! And Munsters are quite spaniel like only a lot taller and more leg - I am not sure but I think there are two strains, Welsh and English and the Welsh tend to be smaller. Having said that there are lots of English Springers round here and they do vary in size quite a bit - though none as tall as your granddog!
And I know Porthmadog! Been there as a child though not for ages.
