Mine is boring, my last name. My first name is in a Beatles' song and there are thousands of women born in the 60's with it.
There are not too many Tothill's around, so it is usually available as a user name online.

My old cat's name is "Bear" and he is a dark gray in color.
hence - bearisgray - bear is gray
I was caught off guard when a 'user name' was asked for - and that's the first thing I thought of
Although sometimes I call DH "papa bear" - and he now has mostly white hair - but it really was the cat that was the inspiration for my user name

I am fond of cats and science fiction. In a series of novels there is a character from a race of lion men called Pyanfar. But since I like cats, I altered it to be Pyanfur to acknowledge the little furry critters at my house.

I've used mine or a slight variation since I joined eBay in 1998, our license plates on our two vehicles are slight variation of the same name too... it is combination of first three letters of my name and the state of our 'nest' with the 'kids' when they graduated from college.

I am an avid collector of all things pigs and when my closest friend had her little girl, I showered her with pig gifts. So Lauren started calling me "Aunt Piggy" and I was a nurse for 18 years so that is where the "LPN" part came from.

My user name use to be Jingleberry, she was a toy poodle. When I had to have her put down at almost 16 YO it made me sad to see her name. I got permission to change it to Jingle. That is how I got my user name.
