Yesterday,my gd ,Natalie,4,saw me using my pinking shears. She asked what they were and when I told her she asked"Nana,do you have any blueing shears?"

When she was really small I was discussing with hubby about what color to use for a backing,,She said"Well,I think it should match the fronting" Gotta love kids!!!!

Her answers are totally logically. She was right about the second one. You may have a little quilter in training.

adorable. good that she's learning the terms early so there won't be so much confusion when she starts the sewing.

How I enjoy reading these grandkid quotes! So literal and observant.
