Same in NM. DH said here hoarding TP, bottled water, canned soup. Just don't understand the mentality.

Oh dear, hope you can find some as the toilet paper companies reported they have large stock piles this time.

Are we really going to play that game again ? Someone starts a rumor & people fly to the stores. (My opinion). My grocery store has enough of all paper products except not one package of dinner napkins since August. I’ve asked about this & employees say they order every week but get none. Funny thing, other stores have plenty. ????

None here in NJ either. And paper towels are scarce and at a premium. When none (paper towels) were available in two different Walmarts a couple of weeks ago, our grocery store had packages of them but they were $17 for a 6 pack! Finally found some at Target a couple of days ago but only about 3 packages of toilet paper there. Ridiculous!

It's not due to hoarding. A guild member's son works at a TP production plant, all TP production is currently down at his plant and most others. Something about supply delivery. Nothing coming in so nothing is coming out. The plant makes many different brands of tp. Since the last few times of shortages I buy extra when the shelves are full. I noticed flour was low again too. member sent this text to tell everyone to buy tp. It may have to do with the recent surge in Covid cases. I don't know this but just a hunch. I never understood that kind of hysteria though!

The people that stock piled TP in the first place are probably out now, and figure they need to buy another supply. Now the stores can charge what they want, and people will have to pay the price.

I was in our local Walmart and I witnessed a man and his son filling their cart with packages of toilet paper. I felt like saying "leave some for the rest of the population"!!! This is the problem that people are hoarding and I don't feel this is necessary. I have heard that there is plenty of a supply of TP but people panic. Going to visit Son in Tulsa and he said he had been to two Sams and a Costco and no TP there either so I guess it just isn't Arizona.
