My neighbor went to grocery store this morning and said no tp there. (I gave her some so she's fine) She said a man looking at the empty shelf said his brother told him two weeks ago there was going to be a shortage in the warehouses. She didn't ask him how he knew that.

I bought t.p. and paper towels at Costco on Monday. They seemed to have plenty in stock during senior hour, but neighbors on the Nextdoor app have complained about shortages. I stocked up on essentials because I don't intend to go back to Costco for at least a couple of months. Even without COVID, I prefer avoiding holiday crowds, full parking lots, and long lines, but this year more so than ever.

A few weeks ago my daughter had friend come visit for the week-end. The friend brought TP with her as a hostess gift. We had a good laugh about that, along with the friend. The new hostess gift for 2020!

our local groceries and big box stores have been limiting purchase numbers for months now on things like TP, paper towels, sanitizer, etc.

I found treasure! I happen to open the shower door to my sewing room bath and there as a big package of tp I forgot I put it there. No one ever uses that shower and the door isn't see through. I may wrap it for a Christmas gift. LOL

My husband said there was no toilet paper on the shelf. He just shrugged his shoulders and said, "No -problem. You've got plenty of fabric." No appreciation there!
