Sew piecefully while they are on their adventure!

Yesterday, I had our two DGDs here and they toured the sewing room. I am making pink socks today for a baby doll.
Of course, I couldn't resist the opportunity to teach the girls about the log cabin block. They listened intently while I explained the traditional colors (red or yellow) for the enter patch. Then they each received a small ornament to place on their Christmas tree. I was thinking of you and your love of the log cabin block. Dear Friend,
we will all keep your children in our hearts and prayers for safe travel. Sew--you may now relax at home :-)Hugs

Oh, Karla, they will have a wonderful time!

What a wonderful gift to your children!

I can relate, though..... The 2 years 3 months my youngest served in the Peace Corp in Nicaragua was worrisome to say the least....... She was sick a lot of the time and the living conditions weren't the greatest. On a positive note, her Nica neighbors were like family to her and made sure she was okay on a daily basis. I am still thanking them....

No, no. That's stress you don't need. Save that until they're back in the air.
