Paisley quilt pattern

Are your paisley fabrics mostly large scale? Do you think you could use one or two colors that will unify all of them?
I am thinking something like a garden lattice whereby your two sashing colors intertwine with paisley blocks (on point). This will work best if the graphics on your paisley fabrics can visually fill up a 10" space.

I love paisley prints! You could make squares (size depending on the print size) and just sash them with a color that goes well, cream, black or whatever. Slide Show (by Atkinson Designs) is a nice pattern. Shadowbox (I don't know the designer) would be another nice pattern. Many patterns would look great, but you might want to select one that has pieces large enough that you don't lose the design of the prints.

Just found a pattern that I am collecting fabric for. It is "Tess Elation" from the McCalls Quick Quilts - Feb/March 2013 book. Think your fabric would look great with this type of pattern. Good Luck.

I'm so glad you asked this question. I have a baby shower to go to in a couple of weeks and was thinking of what kind of baby quilt to make. When you mentioned paisley quarters, a light went off in my very slow brain. The baby's name will be Paisley - now I know what kind of fabric to get! Thanks for waking up an old tired brain!
