Boy I went to a quilt shop called Rainbow's End here in Dunedin Florida and the prices of material were the same as for JoAnn's. Couldn't believe that. But what a selection of material. Could have spent all day there. Good thing I had only so much money to spend. Had to keep some money for gas.

I know you can get lost in a fabric store and the way out the front door your pocket book is lighter, (takes alot of $$$ to buy fabric)

I was visiting FL last month and went to Heartfelt Quilt Shop in Winter Haven and was amazed at all the fabrics they had, their classroom and their "kitchen"! They were so friendly and very helpful.

I'm glad you had a good time at Rainbow's End and hope you get to go back for some more LQS shopping. P.S. Put the gas in your car BEFORE you go, then you can spend all your money!

I loved the remark about putting the gas in the car first

I love Rainbow's End! It's one of the highlights of my trip to Clearwater Beach every year.

Ora,
I usually visit in late October. It's my week to get away alone. This year I had trouble getting away to FL so spent a week on Cape cod instead. Probably be back to FL next fall - it's so perfect in October.
