Sometimes I wear just a little. Remember that once you have it on awhile that you can't smell it but others can. I think that's when they over do it, they think it's gone and put on more. A little when you leave the house and then no more thru the day.

This reminds me of a story that my DH told me about his dad. (I never got to meet his dad, as his dad passed on when my DH was only 14) He told his sons to avoid woman who wore it..because if they had to wear it..they were covering up something that a bath would not take care of. I have to laugh..as DH mother.. now wears it.

I rarely wear perfumes and I tend to use scent-neutral items (soaps, deoderant, etc). As a result I can really tell when someone is wearing perfume.

For me, it's bad because I can tell when that person goes by my work desk, how long it's been since they've been in the room, etc.

Funny you should talk about this, just recently I had this problem at church and had to go sit somewhere else. The smell was killing me. I wasn't like this at age 20, but the smell really bothers me now (at 60+ years old).

Three years ago I had to find all new soaps, shampoos, toothpaste (baking soda is great), deodorant; have to watch all over-the-counter salves and such. Some people keep telling me to buy all natural stuff but I'm allergic to that too; mostly citrus (grapefruit in toothpaste?!).

Just a slight whiff of Cliniques aromatic elixer. My friends and family love the way it smells.

I wear a little cologne but anything heavy gives me a headache; sometimes even my husband's aftershave. It's no big deal but it makes me avoid heavy scents. Not my style anyway.

I can't wear any. I can't breathe if I do.

I confess to being a fan of the "Este Lauder" perfumes, but have always maintained, like my mama before me, that you only use enough perfume that the guy you're dancing with can catch a whiff of...

A nice scented lotion, but no perfume and I hate to walk thru that section at a department store.
