phrases that puzzle me

I worked with a woman from Michigan who used "them" in place of any pronoun, and any tense.
Them is nice bananas,
Them are coming to dinner tomorrow.
I used to cringe every time she opened her mouth. But then again, she probably is still working, and I'm not.

Heh, most of those would drive me up the wall!
I've heard people say 'already' at the end of whatever they're saying, but I think I probably heard it more on TV than anywhere else, because I don't think people around here actually say that.
What drives me really crazy, is when people say 'yous guys' or something similar. ARRRGH!!!! It doesn't happen often and it's mostly people who are uneducated who say that around here. Maybe it's common elsewhere, I don't know.
Or what about 'don't' instead of doesn't. "She don't know what time to go pick him up"
Or what about double negatives like "I don't know nothing"
I never understood how that made sense...
They used to call me the 'grammar b!tch' in high school, I can understand why, lol!

I also read that children and some adults only hear the first 5 words and then the rest becomes gibberish...so if you add in words like "not" in the first 5, no wonder they tuned us out lol

Oh another thing said here pretty regularly is instead of Chiropractor they say Choir-practor. And for Alzheimer's it is Old-timers disease.
And my husband regularly worshes (washes) his kellers (colors) in cold werter (water)

In rural south the phrase 'fixing to' is used in place of going to and 'carry' in place of taking.
I'm fixing to carry my aunt to the store.
I can't stand to hear the word day pronounced as 'dee' like in Mondee, Tuesdee, Wednesdee.... Say MonDAY, TuesDAY..... it will at least give the impression you do have some learnin! LOL

My niece is a transplant to Texas from Minnesota - and she's picked up a lot of the expressions - you-all and fixing come to mind.
Actually, you-all makes some sense. You is singular and you-all is plural.
