He is adorable! I have 2 different friends with white boxers & they are both great dogs. I had heard they used to kill the white ones too- how sad!

Did you guys know that people used to kill white boxers at birth?!!! They were thought to be "inferior" to the fawns and brindles.

They were also thought to be deaf and/or blind, which its been found out that that's not true.

I've actually met a breeder that said in the 70's he killed all his white boxers at birth! He said he deeply regrets it now, and was very open about it to me. He also said there are still Boxer clubs that recommend it!

I can understand them not being bred for reasons of messing up the coat colors that breeders have worked hard to establish, but why can't they go to pet home?
We had 2 white boxers and they were brother and sister and both deaf.
I had the female bred at a local breeders and ended up with one pup left. She was a special dog and loved kids.

I do miss the boxers! Yours is adorable!!! We got another boxer later on and he was a brindle. We named him Rocky Road(like the ice cream) after his markings.

They are great kids dogs!! Love love the breed!!

Love your Chico, very handsome fella. I had two brindles in the '80's. Fritz and Willie, brothers. They're a very intelligent breed and so much fun.
