Here are a few beautiful shots of the beautiful mountains & spectacular sky we were in awe of yesterday morning. I could hardly believe what I was seeing. My husband was outside blowing snow and I was watching him and all of a sudden he pointed at the sky and my breath was taken away. My husband is so cute I didn't look past him to begin with. Soooo glad he pointed it out! Ain't he sweet!

These were most certainly some of the most gorgeous sky scenes I have ever witnessed. I love the sky! My avitar name shoud really be "sky watcher"

Thanks for your comments! I'll be looking today for another beauty in the sky, sunrise is just a few hours away.

Till then...

We do have some incredible sunrises and sunsets here, particularly in the winter. Yesterday, I was out running errands early, well, early for a Sunday, and about 8:30 there was a faint glow in the SE sky. It was a deep almost magenta color. I'd never quite seen it that color before. And as time progressed, it got more intense. By that time I was back home about to embark on making a pie, otherwise I would have run off with my camera.
