My son started school this year and he has been learning all about China! This was the closest thing I could think of - so he could experience China. These are photos of the Chinese gardens at Darling Harbour in the Sydney, Australia. It was lovely warm weather but a bit windy, we didnt need jackets though, even though I had packed them for Liam and myself just in case!

They were very relaxing and peaceful - it was hard to imagine at times it was in the middle of the city!

He loved it, we saw a turtle in the pond, and a big lizard when we were eating lunch. He loved looking in all the nooks and crannies in the garden, there was always a rock formation or sculpture there.

They had a costume centre where you could get dressed up in traditional Chinese Imperial costume and take photos with your own camera around the garden, I would have loved that BUT he was not into getting dressed up. LOL

Beautiful!! Looks like it was a lovely outing. I love to go to gardens and walk around. Whenever DH and I travel we try to hit some of the gardens where ever we go!!
