Lordy, car's and windows can be fixed. You, hubby and little one stay safe inside. Maybe in the bathtub! The weather is nuts this year!

OMG - that is awful - You can claim losses on your income tax - but there are alot of rules that go along with it. Boy, that is just so terrible - at least no one was hurt.

Glad to hear your OK though! When I heard Murray KY on the radio today I remembered one of our members lived there, but couldn't remember which one.

Carrie,
That is awful. I'm grateful you weren't driving when it hit.

The storm came thru at midnight. When it hit it I thought the apartment was gonna explode.

Thankful you & family are safe. So sorry for all the damage the storm caused. Praying for safety & no property damage for all.
Scary to say the least.

Glad you are ok. I'm sorry about your van. I use to drive a Windstar just like yours. It was a good van and I miss driving it. Hope you get yours fixed real soon!

So sorry...
Who owns the building where the shingles came from? Could their homeownders insurance cover your damage? I have no idea, I just wonder...

So sorry about all the damage and concern about your area weather!!So far we have escaped any bad storms this spring, but it's always raining and tonight we have a tornado watch until midnight.Take care all of you in the storm areas.I carry my weather alert upstairs to bed with me so I can listen and shut it off.It can drive me crazy when it goes off every little bit,but one night we just shut it off and there was a terrible tornado just a short distance away and that taught me a lesson,DON'T shut it off!
