Default I'm Going to be a Grandma for the First Time!

Recently found out that I am going to be a Nani for the first time. We are all pretty excited. I have so many ideas and so much I want to make. I wanted to share a few of the projects I have finished since finding out the news.

I announced the news to my good friends by texting a picture of my new garden flag that I made. Then for Mother's Day, I had to make Great-Grandma To-Be and my expecting daughter a T-shirt using my Silhouette Cameo. Working on a nursing cover-up right now. So much to do, so little time. December 6th will be here before we know it.

Congratulations! I like to make square receiving blankets. I use one layer of flannel, serge around the edges after rounding the corners, then crochet around the whole thing. My daughter and daughter-in-law got at least 7 for each baby. You can also make burp cloths out of flannel. Very useful!
