Default Pink dragonfly!

was leaving the house one da and saw this beautiful dragonfly, ran back in and grabbed my camera ad he was waiting or me!!! I had never seen a pink one! Thanks for looking.

beautiful! we have large and small ---dark green, sorta black & white large ones, then small little reds, burnt orange, yellowish and brilliant, shimery blues & greens ...but, sadly, no pinks.

Wow, that is amazing. I had never seen a pink one either so you prompted me to google it. The species common name is roseate skimmer. apparently they are common but I have never ever seen one. You captured a male and wow what a great photo. Here is a link that tells about them
