I would like to know an estimated shipping price on quilt books Mostly paperback ,I have some to sell and do not have the time with working nights and small town post office hours to get exact shipping prices. I have sold myself way short so many times by not knowing how much it is to ship :(

    Thanks,
    Rae

You need a scale. But I think that Amazon.com has the weights of many of its books in the description, so you may be able to use that weight, plus the weight of your packaging (which maybe you could use 1 consistent packaging, say a specific padded envelope, every time, to make this easy). Using the weight and your zip code and the destination zip code, you can get the estimated shipping online from USPS.com. Since all books weigh different amounts, this will be your best bet, in my opinion.

If they are like magazine type of weight then they will not cost more than $3, but for hardcover they are very pricey and better be shipped in a priority envelopes as it is cheaper (of course if they fit). Because of this specific reason i just listed a bundle of books so i can put them all in one priority box for $10-$11. It just makes more sense sometimes.
    Good luck

I Sold several recently and added $2.50 for shipping. It wasn't quite enough. Next time I will ad $3.00 as most were $2.85 or $2.90 and that is media rate. It has gone up.
