Just noticed that "A Regular here" was noted below my name. I think that is wrong :wink: It should say "I live here" :P
I must check it 20 times a day, well that is all I'm admitting to anyway. This is so much fun I haven't used my sewing machine since we got to TX, I have set it on the table a few times so it won't feel left out tho.

LOL Too many times, I don't manage to get to actual quilting because I spend too much time on here! My chances are when the baby naps and after I get the kids to bed. I usually don't get down to my machine during nap time, though I try...most nights I get down there for a little while after the kiddos are in bed, though. lol

I keep this open all day while at work for 10 hours lol! Not so much on the weekend thouh. :) I have an adiction to the board. lol!

Too funny! I can relate and some days do spend more time here than sewing.

Me too it's open all day at while at work. I pop back and forth. and have found many more ideas than I have the time for----the list keeps growing...

Well now I know I am not a complete Addict!

If it's like at my house, the machine would get a lot more use if 'I didn't live here'.
I keep telling myself that I am going to limit my time on this board -- hasn't happened yet..............

I actually stayed put in my sewing room today and finished several Christmas gifts that needed finishing and now I am happily back to the board to see what you all are doing!

I feel right at home here!

i used to have my computer set up in my bedroom. NEVER got any sleep because i was constantly checking the board.

now, i have my sewing table butted up against my desk (in another room) to form an L. tile floors. rolling chair.

sew a little. rollllllll over. read a little. rollllll back. sew a little. back and forth i go ...

until, of course, it's time for a nap. :lol:

not on topic but your dog look like a close cousin to mine. if you dog is as sweet and funny as my girl, then you've got a winner.

This has become my favorite site. I look forward to checking the topics every day, and I've learned so much from the pictures and comments shared. It motivates me to quilt! It is also wonderful to be connected to so many wonderful friends who share our love of quilting. Just love it!!!

I think the rules for "A regular here" are unfair. I have been on the board but haven't been posting as much. I have of 1500 posts, but lost the title. What the heck!

its just a label! i'm not considered a regular either but everyone here is so nice, we are all quilting friends. "potato, pothato"

I had ( A regular here) for a bit , then noticed it was gone, I too leave it on and come back and forth after sewing , I don't know why it's not there..

once again ...

the title is assigned and removed automatically based on a mathematical calculation built into the board software.

the title is only relevant if you want to sell things in our classifieds section or to ask for freebies in the donation section.

unless you want to reach into our wallets or our stashes, the title does not matter. if you lurk, we love you. if you post only once in a while, we love you. if you post a bazillion times a day, we love you.

in other words ... we love you.
