18" Doll Clothes Rack-Very Inexpensive!

DH just finished this clothes rack for an 18" doll. I haven't fixed it up yet. But, I plan to remove all of the stickers ( :D ) ! I will probably find a cute washi tape and wrap it around the pipes.

It is 22" wide and about 17" tall. The base pvc pipe is 11". DH said it was less than $4 with all of the joints and an 8' pvc pipe. I got the original plans from

DH modified it a bit. Just like a quilter, huh? :D

I ordered the hangers through Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/LAVENDAR-HANGE...lothes+hangers (not affiliated with Amazon.)

Very cool! I would have loved that when I was little.

You could always paint it....using that good spray paint.

Really cute! There's also lots of cute Duck Tape now that would work great to wrap around it.

I agree something this cool would go like wildfire at a craft show. This definitely is such a novelty that it would go quick:D

That's exactly what I mentioned to DH. It took all of 15 minutes to cut and put together. Painting it or taping it would add a little more time but not much. Under $20 would help it sell.

For sending in the mail the clothes rack comes apart easily since there isn't any gluing. That is why I want to use washi tape or duct tape.

Very clever, and probably a lot less expensive than a purchased one. I personally can't wait for our DGD to get an American Girl (or look alike) doll so that I can start making clothes for it.
