18" Doll Socks - EASY!

1 Attachment(s)
I saw these socks made on several websites. Today I finally made them for my granddaughter, Ruby. Each pair of socks took one girls sock and took less than five minutes altogether. I expected it to be hard to turn inside out but it wasn't.

Here is the website where I got the directions.

These would be great to make from girls socks that little granddaughters have outgrown!

Really great idea!

This is great when one sock gets lost - don't throw away the remaining one!

I know my grandchildren have lots of socks that no longer have a mate. Great use for them.

That was super - thank you so much! I'm going to share this link with my sewing group, as many of those ladies make clothes for 18" dolls.

Be sure to ask for your granddaughter's socks that have lost their mate. These pair of socks only take one girl's sock to make.

Thanks for sharing, great tutorial!

hamchips88 11-27-2013 11:13 AM

how do you store your doll clothes, shoes, socks.. etc.

SewExtremeSeams 11-28-2013 05:54 AM

Here are a few boxes that would be nice. My favorite that I buy for my DGD are the ones sold at JoAnn's with decorative paper and a fold over lid that has a magnetic closure. I buy those with a 40 or 50% off coupon.

You are sew welcome. I recently bought $1 socks at my local grocery store. Can't wait to make more for my DGD. She loves them.
