Absolutely gorgeous car, we are old enough to remember those cars. Older ones also.

Compare Chevrolet Equinox

Seemed to me to be slightly off, but it IS an instant car advertisement!!

It just keeps surprising me how fast such things pop up on this forum!! Not that it bothers me, I find it funny.

Great car! I just love old cars. Used to drive a 65 Mustang almost the same color until someone ran a light and hit me. Still sad today, I loved that car.

My first car was a 1964 Ford Fairlane!! What a flashback seeing yours!

jljack - cool TBird. I owned several newer ones & the TBirds are still a favorite that turn my head.

My Nana had one of those and it was light blue -- thought that car was so pretty ! Must have been around that year I was born in 1956 and I was 7 or 8 riding in it.

My first car was a Ford Fairlane. My parents sold it when I went to college so my siblings who wre much too young would not be temmpted to try it out.

OMG! That is the car I learned to drive on. Practically the same color too. Is it a 3 on the column with an overdrive? Push button AM-radio? I think my dad paid around $200.00 in 1974. Thanks for the memory! 8-)

ShowMama 08-17-2011 06:56 AM

Oh, the memories! My family had a '64 Fairlane, metallic turquoise green. I loved that car.

mamaw 08-17-2011 08:41 AM

That is a beauty....I love old cars and enjoy going to our local dairy bar on Wed. evenings to see them at "Cruise Night". It is a great time...good food, great music, a few prizes, and lots of great cars to look at.

amma 08-17-2011 05:03 PM

I love it! I remember helping my BF work on her's :D:D:D

pattypurple 08-17-2011 05:53 PM

Sounds like our story. On our recent trip he programed our GPS to tell him when there was a car museum nearby and also when there was a quilt shop. We've been married almost 41 years. Guess old cars and quilts are a good combo
