This year is fun for us. My beautiful granddaughter was born 7/17/97 so this year will be special for her. 7/17/17. And she was born at 7:17 weighing 7lbs, 17 ounces (8.bs 1 oz.) I tried to get mom (DD) and baby in room 717 but no seventh floor. LOL

We are starting our retirement Jan. 1st.

Onebyone. That's awesome... I love stuff that works out like that. I feel good luck Everytime I glance at a clock and it has my birthday as the time! Happy New Year everyone. I appreciate this board. :)

Happy New Year Sewnsewer2. Happy New Year to you all. Jingle wishing you both a happy retirement. My husband is hoping to retire at the end of January if his business sale goes through. Fingers crossed.

Happy New Year to all of you! I think 2017 is going to be a great year at our house--son's family doing better and hopefully DIL will get the treatment for mental health issues she's seeking; DD and SIL are going ahead with further testing to figure out why they are having trouble conceiving, DH and I are doing a little travel, hopefully to include a trip with old friends we used to travel with often. And I've got several plans for quilts that I'm inspired about!
