5D Quilt Design Creator error message

1 Attachment(s)
I have the 5D Quilt Design Creator and today when I went to use it I got the following error message. I thought it might have been because I upgraded my computer to Windows 10, but when I loaded the software onto my old laptop(Windows 7), I got the same error message. I had used this program successfully not long ago, on Windows 8 .

Any assistance or knowledge appreciated, I really want to get some work done on this.

I personally don't have a clue. However, I did find these websites that might be of help:

I installed Windows 10 and had a lot of problems with my older programs including Quicken. I uninstalled and the computer is back to normal.

Who supports this program?? I would contact them. Some programs are limited with the number of times you can download a program.

Have you asked Mr. Patience at mrpatience.com? He's the expert on 5D, 6D etc, and he answers questions FAST.

I found out I needed to re-load the driver for the dongle and then my program worked well. Not a Windows 10 problem per se, and I do find I like Windows 10 overall.

Thanks to everyone who responded,
