If you haven't cried enough today, here's a beautiful tribute to all the dogs that helped in the aftermath of the 9/11 attack. This also recognizes the one dog who lost his life when the towers fell. Very touching. |

Thank you for sharing the above link. People often forget all the rescue dogs did to help. Thanks for reminding us.

Yes, really touching. nuff said - just watch.

Thank you for posting this, I watched it and passed it along to others. It is easy to remember the people that are involved in disaster situations and often the 4 legged rescuers are over looked.

Wonderful! Thank you

Thank you for the link. I have some relatives and two friends who do rescue work with dogs. The amount of training and traveling they do is shocking. Dedicated, committed people.

hannajo..it did bring a tear to my eye...thanks for sharing..my nephew was a firefighter..sadly he lost his life due to complications of diabetes at age 48. whenever I see a tribute to firemen it reminds me of him..if he could have been there at ground zero he would have gone gladly. thanks for sharing...crafty_linda_b
