Do you have the link to CraftyBear's?

I think I have already consolidated her listing here, or on the one I am working on for the next update!
Just in case, I'd like to check and make sure.

I just keep adding, as new/different ones come along!

Well QuiltE ... if your going to add non-quilting acronyms for those of us who are AC ... you need to add one of YOUR favorites which I see is missing from the list.

ITL!!!

I can't tell you how many times that one threw me.

QuiltE 01-21-2013 12:14 PM

Oh but it's already there ... HST HST HST !!! :D

I'm guessing ITL, is it's southern cousin?

DogHouseMom 01-21-2013 02:14 PM

Hanging head in total SHAME!!! You KNOW I'm AC!! And yes - I saw HST and the *wrong* definition :)

ahem ... let me try that again .....

ITA !!! ITA!!! ITA!!!!!!!!

(you might as well add ITL as well. It can be "I'm a total loser!")

I sent a PM to the user. I'll let you know what she says.

Sorry, KwiltyK ... it's not one I am familiar with.
Perhaps ask the person who has used it ... and if you'd post the answer here, I'll add it to the list for updates.

MUF = Masterpieces under fermentation.
It is not a term created by me. I only adhered to the idea of Kelly's blog Charmen Chatter (http://cottoncharmquilts.typepad.com/) in January 2011. There she explained that it considers that everything that we have unfinished, pieces are masterpieces in fermentation until the day that we find you the "spin" that was needed give terminated.
In this thread said that meant the acronym (2 Muf's finished: Christmas Table Runners for 2!) thinking that it had been clear, I hope I am sorry that not I kept repeating it.

This is the reply I received from GVO9

DHMom .... *snicker*

KwiltyK ... priceless! and I have a lot of those MUF PhDs!

You two had me rooooooooooaring with laughter! :)

I had it on the list originally, then removed it when I was trying to keep the list focused on quilting acronyms and definitions. I've plan to update the list and re-post it sometime, so will add it this time round, for sure!

For those who are saying ... where is this list? ... here's a link!

Here's another one for the list. Learned it this weekend at a guild meeting: SABLE=stash accumulation beyond life expectancy. Fits me to a 'T'.
