Has anyone noticed that the ad banners across the bottom of the pages are usually about what we are discussing?? How does that happen?? For example....on the topic I started about sandals there was just an ad about HP sandals. If we are discussing food then there are food ads. Its kinda creepy.....but I always did like a good haunted house! :wink:

Guess they pick up on key words. the other day some one was saying something about printer ink, and there was an ad for it!

Kinda makes you feel like we're being watched........guess what ...we are. I did a search the other day and not while on this message board and guess what.....I'm staring right now at an advertisement for what I did the search on.....that should tell ya something.....lol.

we were carying on in the diary section once about moonshine stills, and a ad came up where you could buy one on line LOL

I see HP shoes again....which I have been searching recently. I hope they ain't watching me because they would drop dead of shock. :lol:

I had a post going about a quilt that I wanted from PB Teen (pottery barn teen) and the adds were about that!

It's weird!

On my Facebook page it's the same, only for whatever reason I keep getting adds for Indian (india) dating sites... The only thing I put on my page pertaining to India was that I was going there my sophomore year of college... weird.

I've noticed the ads before too. Wondered who, how it's done.

i guess there are no haunted houses for sale cause there's no ad for them yet at the end of this!!HAHA

I guess I'm missing out .... I never look at the ads.

My favorite is the lady who starts out looking a bit like me and then miraculously shrinks to look like DH's fantasy!

During the mare stare chats, talking about different things mare related (body parts), there were some VERY interesting ads that came up LMBO

On Facebook, there is a place that if you don't "uncheck it" the ads are generated off of your personal profile :wink:

its how the site makes money. im sure they need to raise funds some how.

It is key words... but generated by our conversations...

conversation could pull up phone ad's like Vonage.
