Wow! I guess not all of the "good ole days" were so good after all! Some changes have been for the better. :)

When I was a child, our family doctor use to tell my Mom that syrup of Coke(that we use to get at our little drugstore/soda fountain shop not the carbonated soda) was good to give us for an upset stomach...my Mom is 87 yrs young and she will still drink a "flat" Coke for an upset stomach...Naomi

The one that caught me was the Cola one!!! I have never seen that one before..... How times and science has changed!

Now we know why there was a women's movement. What is sad is that I remember seeing some of those ads (or ads like them) in the women's magazines that my mom got.

I am old enough to remember being told that I needed to make sure I stayed with "women's" courses when I went to a big university in the south -- I had transferred as a math major and upper level courses were not available to women because "they" knew that women could not succeed in math at the higher levels.

Oh wow. So glad times have changed.
