I used to look at SewItsForSale. Just one time I responded to something and my virus protection went wild. It stopped everything and I was getting warnings. Not sure of the technical details but I never responded again and don't get that list anymore.

I buy and sell on SewItsforsale. I've used PayPal even though they charge a fee.I still feel it's the safest way. I've had no problems.

I have purchased numerous things from Sewitsforsale and have never had a problem. The trick for ebay and Sewitsforsale is to ask every question you can think of to ask and pay by paypal. I have also bought off e-bay. The only problem I have had is one sewing machine was not packed properly and it was in pieces. It was taken care of by insurance.
