I didn't suffer the empty nest until my DD was married, that's when I knew she'd never live with us again. It took a while to adapt.

It's Definitely going to take some adjusting, with him out of the house. I'm proud of him and glad he is able to get the whole college experience. I'm lucky he has stayed close to home. I just hope I get to see him once a week. I'm trying to see if he will come home every Sunday for dinner and to do his laundry. :)

when my eldest daughter left for university that wasn't so bad as I still had youngest then she went off on a world trip and didn't come back!! met her ex boyfriend in Australia and is now happily married - when she came over for a visit and then went back it finally hit home did find it very difficult to adjust for a while but then realised that this was a good thing I had given them the courage to go off and do their own thing and most importantly be happy - yes I still miss them both although eldest pops home quite alot - I now enjoy being on my own (no hubby) doing what I want to do when I want it does get easier!!!!!

You can always quilt more and you could visit
someone very special in your life( haha).
Wonder who that could be.

Run naked through the house with scissors.
Put shoes on the dog/cat/mice.
Start planning on the new uses for that room.

It will take a while to get used to the fact that the house is YOURS.
