Hehe...I sure did. I missed the quilting board. Had to check everything out here and then I started a load of wash. As you said...we all have our priorities. (My husband wasn't surprised at all that this is what I did first!!)

Small world..I live in Hopewell, VA just below Richmond now. Was raised in Berryville, VA..graduated from Clarke County High School. About ..15 min drive to Winchester from Berryville. Have family in Berryville and Winchester.

So glad you are safe-and in the light again! My son is flying to Virginia Beach tomorrow for a wedding-he'll be there about 10 days-are you near there? I hope the weather stays nice!

Welcome back! So thankful that you didn't have any damage! Did you do lots of hand quilting while the power was out?? LOL

But it looks like you may be dealing with the next hurricane, Katia, towards the end of next week.

So glad your electricity is on! I know what you have been going through - when Hugo's "remains" blew through Ohio a few years back with 60 mph winds + gusts we were without power for 9 days. Unfortunately, the school district I worked in had power restored in 3 days, so I had to try to find a way to keep clean and curl my hair to go to work without electricity! So glad that part is over for you and you can start to get back to normal.
