Ladies I have just returned from an Alaskan cruise and I am beat. Jet lagged and all. Trip overall was nice but I learned a lot. Beautiful country. Makes me appreciate the warm (aka HOT) weather here in FL. It was wet, rainy cold in all ports except Sitka. Loved that area. Drug DH to all the quilt stores in all ports, except Juneau. If anyone is going, please contact me off list and I will give you the scoop. Had a good time overall. Now for school and hopefully will get some quilting done in the next few weeks.

So glad you had a good time. My grandparents used to go to Alaska and fish and loved it.

When I visited Juneau there were only 2 stores thst carried fabric ( that I found) and the selection was sparse and pricey...... in my opinion... u didnt miss much by skipping the quilting stores in Junaeu

That is on my "bucket list"...maybe there are better times of year to go...I have heard from many people who loved their Alaskan cruises.

I have been on a Princess cruise to Alaska. I loved it also, and would love to go back! The quilt shops were great!
