I do patch my sticky, but not the regular stabilizer. I do a lot of floating so I end up using it all.

I do the same as Suz and Misty's mom. I overlap, sew together or what ever it takes to make the pieces fit what I need. I have used the sewing interfacing that is used for collars and clothing too. It comes on a bolt and sometimes is a bit less expensive that the ones for embroidery. Plus I already have alot of it from other sewing projects.

They don't have to be sewed together, you can just use your 505, temporary spray adhesive, to connect them.

I do it with the super solvy for free standing lace projects. that stuff even with a coupon is expen$ive

I have a reuse pile going.
I will place straight edges together and iron it on my embroidery when doing smaller projects.
it must makes sense to me.

I do a lot of FSL Christmas ornaments and sew together my water soluble stabilizer remnants with water soluble thread.
