Lost my regular status by going to son's wedding but it was worth it and wanted to share a picture. It was an outdoor wedding and very nice. Will be back to posting regularly now but sometimes family comes first. Now I have one more thing on my 'to do' list and that is make them a quilt with a Celtic knot design...hmmm...perhaps they will get it on their 5th anniversary! :-) p.s. She is not pg. Dress just makes her look that way. :-) This is second marriage for both and I think this will be the last for them. He has two children and she has one. They all get along great! :-)

Lovely wedding

The wedding was at Rifle Falls State Park in Western Colorado. Her dress was a Gunny Sax dress and she has had it for years thinking of someday when she might re-marry. Then she and our son met and the rest is history. Not even sure if I spelled the dress name right. When hubby heard she was wearing a GS dress, he was aghast. Asked why she would want to wear burlap. After he saw it and with a little explanation of brand names, he understood. :-)

What a lovely photo. I love her dress....I remember making a Gunny Sax dress years ago....one of my favorites of all times. Glad to see she was able to wear it again. Wishing them much happiness together.
