I have had my ironing board covered with foil for many years and it actually speeds up the ironing process. Knew about the sandwich trick but have not used it and haven't tried the scissor sharpening yet either.

So instead of buttering, would you actually wrap your sandwich and then put it in the skillet?

The sandwich was funny I would never think of that. I also never heard of the dryer or ironing board. Good tips. Thanks. Sue
