How would this work in areas without unique minerals in the soil? And....who will teach the Chinese drivers how to park in a lot....

Not in the least practical when you consider it will only go where the magnetic roadbed goes. No more back country travel, ordinary subdivisions, can you imagine how much paved area there is in this country that would have to be altered? Then no travel on dirt roads. How many of those are there?
