American Girl doll dress

My DGD loves her American Girl doll and I have been making clothes for her. (I don't know who has had more fun, DGD or me! :) ) Every American Girl doll needs a red, white and blue dress for the fouth of July!

That is so cute! Do you make matching dresses for gd? I truly wanted a gd mostly for this reason...have been blessed with two boys! Not nearly as much fun to sew for! Bug jar quilts, ect.!

Thanks! It was from a free pattern I got on line. I just googled free American Girl doll clothes patterns and I got tons of patterns. I just added the band at the bottom of the skirt. I love making American Girl doll clothes. They are so much easier than Barbie! I use up a lot of scraps on these dresses. My DGD loves to get them.
