Today is my 27th Wedding Anniversary and my husband wants to know how I would like to make our day special. Well, we both work full time jobs-so a date tonight would be nice. We will more than likely go out for a nice dinner. A movie would be nice, but my husband will be asleep before it gets started good. We are at a loss as to what to do since we usually go to the beach this week every year. I hate to feel like we are in a slump-but after 27 years, what do you do on a week night to celebrate? Any ideas?

Go dancing? A nice bistro? Listen to a band? Go for a walk in the park? Have a picnic?

Try something completely different - different food, different type of movie, coffee house, bowling, ski ball or other just plain different entertainment. Ask some friends to share in the hilarity of different as well. Enjoy the day. Ice cream on the boardwalk; you get the picture.

Comedy club ----- if you can deal with the "blueness" of some comedians

Carriage ride

Contact your Welcome Center for ideas about local tours/walks/riverboating (dinner?)

Why don't you take a walk, hold hands, and talk!

These are all great suggestions - thank you! Maybe we can make this celebration last all weekend and I can get all of your suggestions in the works!

Happy Anniversary

Take a nice long drive someplace that you haven't been before, pack a picnic lunch

Have fun!

Happy Anniversary. Whatever you do will be fun since it is with your DH.

Happy 27th Anniversary! Do you have old wedding pictures or videos? That would be fun.
