another Christmas gift thanks to Missour Star Quilt youtube videos

1 Attachment(s)
just finished 3 more gifts. I saw this demonstrated by Jenny Doak on Missour Star quilt you tube video... It takes a little time... but lots of fun. I even did it with my grandkids for their teachers. They loved it. I plan on making the grandkids a plate with their initial on it for their Christmas dinner plate... sooo many possiblities. I added a cookie cutter and this poem for my Christmas gift plates. Hope you enjoy. Merry Christmas to all my friends here on the quilt board. Love you all.

I made a plate of cookies
to share with you this year.
I thought it was a good way
to spread some Christmas cheer.

They all looked so tasty,
so I thought I’d eat just one.
And a little while later,
I noticed there were none.

So here’s my Christmas greeting,
and a cookie cutter too.
Now you can make your own cookies
and maybe share a few.

Merry Christmas

If you want to try something different.... get acrylic enamelpaint at a craft store and the clear glass plates. Draw your design, initial on the top of the plate with a permanent sharpie. Paint the design/initial on the back of the plate. Clean sharpie off plate with alcohol. Directions for setting the paint on the paint label. Not fabric but just a different way

I did these with my GD who is 6 1/2. We made cookies and put them in a pretty bag to give to her mommy and teacher. She loved doing it herself.

I have tried twice to view this tutorial, but I just get a black screen - any ideas on how to solve this problem?

I forgot all about these! Gave some several years ago and saw them used for several years. Thanks for the reminder! :-)
