Another Funny

A woman had a table that she didn't want anymore, but it was still too good to just destroy. She put the table out on the driveway with a sign that said Free thinking that someone who really needed a table would take it. The table sat there for 4 days and no takes. A friend told her to but a sign on it and ask for $10.00 OBO and see if there were any takers. The next morning, the table had disappeared and no money was left. Someone actually stole the table.

That's one way to get rid of it! I have often thought of doing that to stuff that nobody takes.

HaHaHa! That's too funny! :)

That is funny! In my neighborhood free things are quickly taken.

That's cute and oh so true. Sue

One summer I put extra zucchinis in a box at the end of my long driveway, with a sign "Free". One day there were some extra vegs in there that were not from me!!

It was only supposed to work one way!

Yep. No one takes my free flowers or herbs. No one in my neighborhood cooks or does their own gardening, I think!

Isn't humanity interesting.

This same thing happened when my DD tried to give away an old couch. She lived in a college town, so thought it would be no problem with someone wanting it. The couch sat on the curb for a couple of days with the "FREE" sign, but no takers. So one day she went out, turned the sign over, and wrote "$25.00" on the back. The couch disappeared that night.
