Could some one please explain in plain words how to show pictures of my quilts on this, I am just new on the computer and slowly learning, the pictures are on my camera. Thanks

I think first you must get your pictures into a folder on your computer, then when you click add attachment on here, it lets you browse for where you have the folder. Then you click on picture, and add here. Your camera should have a way to download from it to your computer, either by a cable or by inserting memory card into computer.PM me if you'd like help. I'm not great at it, but I have talked my SIL through things over the phone.

First, your camera needs to be digital, to get it to your computer. Usually the camera comes with a USB cable to hook it to your computer. Most computers have a picture folder, that is where I store all mine (I have made different folders for family, quilts, quilt shows and friends..etc.etc..)

Depending upon the size (pixels) that you have taken your pictures, some sites suggest that you make your picture smaller (less pixels). I usually have my camera set at 'S', going for less pixels, then I don't have to go through 'shrinking' my pictures.

To post pictures here is easy, compared to going through all the above. As you post in the text box, below is "file attachments", click on 'Browse'. It will take you to your picture folders, select the picture you want to share. Also you will notice that there is a text box to the left of the browse 'button', there you can explain extra details about your wonderful quilts.

Good luck

Your camera should have a USB cable to hook the camera to a USB port on the computer. The pictures will be downloaded to a picture program on the computer and then follow clem55's instructions on adding a attachment to this sight.
