I like the Elmer's School Glue Stick, they are so easy to control.

I saw a tv show recently where the person had many cactus stickers on him. He coated the area with Elmer's glue, let it dry to a film, and was able to remove all the stickers at once. Ingenious!

Scotch tape works well also.

Just wish they would make the sticks easier for adults to open, mine are stored in a zipper bag in the fridge.

My arthric fingers and numb fingertips thank you for this tip.

I've always used scotch tape to keep my buttons in place while sewing them on with the machine.

I can honestly say that Elmers glue has become a staple in my sewing room. Lots of things I can't do without it. I especially like to use it to baste binding before hand stitching. It sure stays where I want it to. Using it for buttons is a great idea, I am working on a Chicken quilt and will be using buttons and beads for eyes and corn and etc. Great idea to hold them in place. Kudos to you for the tip
