well guess what....I cannot open it either. the extension is wps.
It is a word program extension, Newer versions of microsoft word should
automatically convert it, but it did not.
I wonder if it was how it was saved. sorry. I wonder if it would open in
Word Perfect.

Thanks for trying everyone! Eparys got it open with her program but apparently part of the file was missing so it is messed up some how. AT least I have an answer of sorts.

I appreciate all the help!!!
