Anybody have a use for.......

those little plastic TABS that come on bread to keep the wrappers closed? With all the clever folks on this board SOMEBODY must save and use these for something....... want to share..... (I was cleaning out my bread drawer crumbs and found about 20 of these tabs!)

I put the white ones on my cucumber, squash, etc leaves to keep the flying insects away. I've got baggies full. Thanks anyway.

I forget who told me this, but It works!! when we get a new loaf of bread, off comes the tie and on goes a cloths pin!!you would be surprised at how soft and fresh your bread stays, where with the ties they seem to dry out sooner....who knew

Did you know the color of the tab represents the day the bread was baked?

I also used them to mark all the different appliance/iPod/iPad/iPhone (you get the idea) cords. Worked great when I went on vacation with my camera, iPhone, and Kindle cords...

I don't use them.

You might also check with your local schools as they often use such for counters in tutoring kids having trouble with math. I know a preschool that collected the various colors of milk jug caps for counters.

And I use them for cleaning my cutting mats - use a pushing motion in both directions and a lot of lint, etc will come out of the cutting grooves - can be used on a wet or dry mat. The ones with the little sharp points on the sides are great for getting gooey gunk from around the sides of the sink, etc also without scratching. Can't think of more right now, but I use them a lot! Thanks for the tip about electric cords!
