My daughter will be travelling to New Delhi in a week for about 4-5 days for her job. She said she should have a bit of "down time" and would love to find out if there is a quilt shop to visit and by her mom (me!) some fabric from there! Any shops for her to go to?

My friends just returned from there and there are not "quilt shops" per se. They did bring me a piece of fabric that is used for a Sari (their native dress), but it was thinner albeit beautiful. I am sure someone can direct her to a fabric/sari shop, but again there is very little quilting done there. I work with students at our university from India and they say the same. I hope she has a wonderful trip.
