Hubby and I have been fans for years, well before we even met each other. It's the only sporting event we watch. Yes, I've been disappointed in the behavior of the athletes with regard to doping, but I am still a fan and an admirer of the incredible athleticism of this sport.
My favorite this year (as last year) is Andy Schleck. Anyway ... it starts tomorrow. I'll be glued to the TV for the next 20 odd days. Gentlemen, start your pedals. |
yes, I do enjoy watching it also

I'll be watching every minute I can and cheering on Cavendish in the sprints ;-)

Indifferent here

We watch every day of it. One of our life goals is to rent a camper in France and follow the tour.

Those of you who are fans, if you get a chance check out a movie called "The Triplets of Belleville". It's a cartoon about a boy that grows up with his grandma and one day enters the Tour. The animation is brilliant and the music is outstanding. It's French, but there is no speaking really so it doesn't matter.

My daughter was studying in France several years ago and was in Paris when Lance Armstrong won his 6th title. She wanted to go back the next summer, but had graduated and had to work. It is fun to watch. I pedal between 5 and 15 miles every day, but don't seem to get anywhere (stationary bike) LOL!
