It probably doesn't help matters that we live literally 10' from the woods. I guess they're strolling out of the woods and right into the house.

Too bad they're too small to be on our cats' "radars". They'll catch larger bugs in a heartbeat, but they just don't seem to notice the ants! :lol:

Those are carpenter ants. They are not good to have. You need to spray your yard and around your house. God bless.

Yeah, those suckers are hard to kill. I usually have them start to come in around May. I have even had them in the dishwasher!. They seem to come into the kitchen so I spray all allong the foundation and around doors and windows. I usually take doing this a couple of times. Oh, and it hurts like heck if they bite you.
