they state it is free and safe anyone had any experience with it???

Yes it is free. I've never explored all of it's functions, I mainly use it to see exactly what my designs look like when I haven't renamed them from the stock file names or for converting to different formats as I have two brands of machines.

I have it and like it. It views and converts pretty much all formats. It allows you to change colors, combine designs, and re-size. Try the free version for a while. I ended up buying the Pro version for $49.99. It is "normally" twice that but it goes on sale all the time.

It is a very popular free software, but I have never used it. I prefer not to have to be 'on line' when I work my designs. I've tried several, all free, and my fave is My Editor because you can do so much more with it. Pulse Ambassador is great for re formatting, but most recent free program requires connection to Internet also.
