I was diagnosed with cancer 4/12 and have had some major surgery since then (the depressing part being that I haven't been up for sewing, but I'm getting there....).

Anyway, would love to find a good support board.

Thanks for any input!

Your doctor's office, hospital and places that do chemo or radiation and the American Cancer Society will also have information of support groups. Take care of yourself and we look forward to you getting back to sewing!

My heart goes out to you. It is an overwhelming experience. I was relatively young @ 29 when first diagnosed and am a 2 time survivor. After both radiation and chemo I have been cancer free for 20 years. A support system is very helpful, but a positive attitude is a must. I am in the medical field and am a firm believer of "mind over matter" making situations better. Hang in there & BE POSITIVE. You are in my prayers.
