anyone know of good skirt and dress patterns for 8 yo?
 
I need a nice pattern for a ruffle skirt and a dress to make my daughter some school clothes. anyone know of anything I could get in size 9-10?

There are some nice skirts on this site. Not sure about the patterns though. I like to just make a rectangle about twice the circumference of the hips ( or more for a fuller skirt) and the length plus 10cms. Then make a 5 cm hem at the top and thread elastic through, then a 5 cm hem at the bottom. Quick, easy and can be smart or pretty or decorated with ribbon, ric rac, or lace. http://pinterest.com/huntedmom/diy-skirts-for-girls/

You can check the different patterns, online. Just do a google search for "McCall's patterns" or "Simplicity patterns."
